Challenge
Angie knew she needed to increase her online presence in order to position herself as the leading Daniel Island real estate agent. Angie wanted to have a new blog that would illustrate her industry expertise, while educating individuals about Daniel Island and the Lowcountry area as a whole.
Solution
Sumèr transferred Angie’s old blog from a WordPress.com blog to a WordPress.org one and, using the Thesis theme, designed a completely new blog—Life in the Lowcountry—that spoke directly to Angie’s target audience. The design and layout of the blog was created from scratch, based on Angie’s brand image, and Thesis was chosen to ensure that Angie would be able to easily change out design elements and content as she saw fit.
Sumèr’s Love Your Blog Manager took Angie step by step through how to use Thesis and provided her with digestible notes and information to quickly and easily update her blog posts and additional content. A blog editorial calendar was also created guide Angie on future blog topics and place her on a consistent posting schedule. Optimized web page copy and meta data were also added to the blog to ensure that the blog could be found using organic search methods.
We also added the Life in the Lowcountry blog to blog directories to increase exposure and SEO.
